Others prefer to keep their dealings under wraps.
But who are they?
These are some of the Gold Coast's wealthiest people who fly under the radar.
These lesser known, homegrown rich listers have built their empires off the back of hard work in a range of industries.
Medcall, a bulk-billing after-hours medical service, was established in 2000. The company has become a crucial community service making house calls between Beenleigh and Coolangatta.
