The Gold Coast is becoming one of the toughest places in the nation to find affordable and liveable suburbs.A recent PRD study showed the cheapest median price for houses in its top three most liveable and affordable suburbs – Oxenford, Arundel, and Upper Coomera – is around $699,001.This price is only affordable for 18% of income earners in Queensland, leaving units as the only option for many families in the future.On the Gold Coast, 47% of houses sold in the past year were priced at $1.05 million and above.
