Gold Coast car flip - fleeing trio police want are caught on camera
Footage has emerged of people walking off after exiting the driver’s side window of a suspected stolen car that was flipped near the Gold Coast Highway.

TWO people pop their heads up through the driver’s side window of a flipped and suspected stolen vehicle laying on its side in Mermaid Beach.
Footage posted to social media shows two people police are now looking for casually jumping out of the car from the driver’s side window.
The footage later shows three people walking and jogging away from the crashed car about 11.30pm on Sunday night.
The footage appears to be taken from a nearby apartment and was posted to the Brown Cardigan Instagram on Monday morning.
One of the clips appears to be taken from Instagrammer Todd Page’s account.
None of the trio appear hurt in the footage and all casually depart the scene.

It appears the trio does not try and fix the car or call for help but they are seen to be looking over their shoulder as they walk away.
At one stage they break into a slow jog.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said it appeared a Holden Commodore, believed to be stolen, crashed into another vehicle on the Gold Coast Highway at Mermaid Beach about 11.30pm.
The collision caused the suspected stolen vehicle to hit a road divider, before it continued into a garden bed and flipped, police said.
The spokesman said up to three people fled the scene. Police were unable to find the offenders overnight.
It is unclear where the vehicle had been stolen from.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
