October 18, 2019
7pm: Shane Ross and Cameron Martin are seen together at a Pimpama tavern having a beer.
Some time after 8pm: Ross is shot and killed in Martin Sheils Park, Burleigh Heads.
About 9pm: Cameron Martin is involved in a horrific high-speed crash and is found dead on Tallebudgera Creek Rd.
October 20, 2019
1.30pm: The body of Shane Ross is found in Martin Sheils Park by friends, in tall grass. He had been shot in the head, about 1km from where Mr Martin died. A double murder investigation is launched. Police swarm the park.
October 23, 2019
Autopsy reveals Mr Martin was shot in the chest before the car crash.
October 24, 2019
Police focus in on CCTV footage and comb the area for witnesses.
November 1, 2019
Police set up a re-enactment and pull up cars at Martin Sheils Park in a search for witnesses for the double murder.
March 10, 2020
Police release CCTV of an unknown white SUV that did a u-turn and pulled up at Martin Sheils Park at the time of the double murder.

Police release fresh footage of the white SUV, now known to be a BMW X5 SUV. The vision shows the car driving between New South Wales and the Gold Coast, with cloned licence plates 498YRF.
