A man has been taken to hospital after a single-vehicle rollover on the Gold Coast Highway.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at the corner of Venice Street at Mermaid Beach just before 2pm on Monday after the dramatic crash.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene before taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said crews were called to the scene at 2pm. Officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
