FOUR children have been charged after a luxury car was allegedly stolen on the Gold Coast and the group filmed themselves driving the vehicle across southeast Queensland.

The black convertible Audi A3 was allegedly stolen from Palm Beach about 1.30am on Saturday morning.

The owner, Alice Savill, reported it stolen and posted a series of videos online allegedly showing the group live streaming their crime to social media.

Ms Savill said she worked three jobs and urgently needed the car to be found.

The vehicle was located at Woodridge on Sunday.

As a result, three girls – two aged 13 and one aged 13 – were charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, among other charges.

A 15-year-old boy was also charged with three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
