AN EX-BIKIE who told police he had consumed GHB after being found passed out in his car at a roundabout has been fined $300 for drug possession.
Former Lone Wolf bikie gang member Shane Treloar pleaded guilty in the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday to possession of a dangerous drug, and breach of bail.
The court heard police were called to assist paramedics with a man who was “passed out in a car” at a roundabout on Pacific Pines Blvd about 2am on June 21 last year.
Treloar was in the driver’s seat with the keys in the ignition.
“Ambulance staff stated they used pain response to awake the male who seemed heavily affected by something,” prosecutor Bob Faulkner said.
The court heard Treloar appeared “highly agitated and twitchy” and told police he had taken fantasy.
When police moved the car from the roadway they found a small amount of ice.
The court heard Treloar failed to report to a police station on February 1 as he was in New South Wales working.
Magistrate Michelle Dooley fined him $300 for the offences and recorded a conviction.
