A man has been charged with a string of offences after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle erratically across the Gold Coast last night, with police alleging he cut off other vehicles, ran a red light and struck a stationary car.

A MAN has been charged with a string of offences after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle erratically across the Gold Coast.
The Robina man, 32, was spotted driving dangerously by POLAIR at Biggera Waters about 3.45pm Sunday.
Police allege the car was cutting off other vehicles, ran a red light and struck a stationary car.
The man allegedly drove the vehicle into an Ashmore Shopping Centre carpark and fled on foot but was arrested by police soon after.
The car was allegedly stolen from Helensvale on August 20.

The man has been charged with 10 offences relating to Sunday’s incident and multiple incidents from earlier this month.
He has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving without a licence, possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of entering a premises to commit an indictable offence and three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday 24 August.
