Queensland Police have confirmed two men have died after a frightening two-vehicle crash on a major road.
Emergency services were called to Beaudesert Town Centre Bypass and Brisbane Street at 12.10pm after reports of a serious truck and car crash.
Two men from the car were declared deceased at the scene despite being treated by paramedics.
The driver of the truck has minor injuries but refused transport to hospital.

A Queensland Police spokesman said investigations indicate the car drifted onto the wrong side of the road.
The Beaudesert Bypass and the area surrounding Brisbane Street and Boonah/Beaudesert Road is closed as a result of the accident.
“Delays in the area are likely,” he said.
“Please avoid if possible.”
