A HIGH-powered shotgun with an assault grip has allegedly been discovered in a Gold Coast house’s oven during a police raid.
The gun, along with drugs ammunition and a large amount of money. were allegedly found by police during the search of a Mermaid Waters House on Tuesday.
Officers from the State Crime Command’s South East Region Major and Organised Crime Squad.
They arrested a 33-year-old man and a 24-year-old man from Mermaid Waters on drug and weapon offences including unlawfully possessing weapons, dangerous drugs, tainted property and explosives (ammunition).
The offenders appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
