A woman has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after a two-vehicle crash near the Gold Coast hinterland.
Emergency services had to free the entrapped woman from her vehicle after the head-on collision on Mundoolun Connection Rd, Boyland just before 1pm on Wednesday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the woman was being flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with suspected back and neck injuries.
Another two people involved in the crash were in stable conditions and did not require transport to hospital.
Police had blocked off Mundoolun Connection Rd near the crash site but the road has since reopened.
The Forensic Crash Unit will be investigating the cause of the crash.
