Police are on the hunt for two men who robbed a bottle shop armed with a knife and threatened a worker.

Police were called to a Liqourland on Frank Street in Labrador following an armed robbery at 5.30pm.

It was reported one of the men, who was armed with a knife threatened an employee and stole a sum of cash before the pair fled the scene on foot.

CCTV footage shows one of the men guarding the front door while waiting for the other to get a hold of the cash.

They both calmly walked out of the premises and fled in the direction of Brett Street.

One of the men was wearing a white hooded jumper with stripes, a black cap with a white face mask and dark blue pants.

The second man was wearing a white cap and a face mask, a black hooded jumper, light blue shorts and thongs.

Gold Coast police are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident, whether they were inside the store or if they have footage which could help, to call police link on 131 444.

Investigations are ongoing.
