A woman allegedly jumped from a moving taxi on the Gold Coast to escape the driver, who stands accused of sexually assaulting her.

A woman allegedly jumped from a moving taxi on the Gold Coast to escape the driver, who stands accused of sexually assaulting her.
Police say that on June 24 the woman caught the taxi from a licensed premises at Broadbeach. It is alleged that around Monaco Street the man sexually assaulted the woman on two occasions before she jumped out of the moving taxi to escape.
She was not injured in the incident.
It is also alleged the same man sexually assaulted another woman when he was driving for a ride share company on November 6 last year.
Police will allege the woman caught a ride share vehicle from Marine Parade at Coolangatta to an address at Mermaid Beach. When the woman was exiting the vehicle it is alleged the man sexually assaulted her. She pushed his hand away and left the vehicle.
On Friday, a 28-year-old man from Helensvale was charged with three counts of sexual assault in relation to the incidents.
He is due to face Southport Magistrate Court on July 19.
