The bomb squad has been called to a property on the Gold Coast after a suspicious item was found in a garden bed.
Police were called at about 9am on Monday after a passer by spotted the item in the garden of a property on Neville Ave in Labrador.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the Explosive Ordinance Response Team had attended the scene to render the item safe.
The item was declared safe by 1.30pm.
The spokesperson said there was no threat to the public.
Investigations are continuing.
