Police are on the hunt for two stolen vehicles after knife was pulled on a man on the Gold Coast. Full details.

Police are investigating an attempted break-in at a residence at Benowa this afternoon.

Officers were called to Rannock Avenue around 12.30pm after a resident saw two suspected stolen vehicles attend an address and enter the open garage.

A neighbour yelled out to the occupants of the vehicles, prompting the alleged assailants to produce a knife before getting back into the cars and driving away.

The house was not entered, no property was stolen and no one was physically injured during the incident.

Police are searching for a grey 2022 Audi Q2 with Qld registration Q931GL3 which was stolen from Paradise Point on October 23.

They are also searching for a white BMW which is also suspected to have been stolen.
