Police have seized more than $9 million in cocaine, MDMA and cash following a joint, NSW and Queensland, investigation into the interstate supply of prohibited drugs.

Launched in August 2024 under Strike Force Oshawa, the operation targeted a criminal syndicate making multiple drug runs across eastern Australia.

On October 10, officers intercepted a Gold Coast delivery containing 25kg of cocaine and 5kg of MDMA, with a combined street value of $9.2 million.

Subsequent searches of homes in Caringbah and Rocklea uncovered over $3 million in cash, a Glock pistol, a kilo of MDMA, four luxury watches and smaller amounts of other drugs.

During a vehicle stop in Brighton Le Sands, police arrested two men aged 26 and 53, while another 26-year-old was taken into custody at the Rocklea property.

All suspects face multiple charges related to the supply of prohibited drugs and participation in criminal activities.
