Men police wish to speak to in relation to $14,000 fraud

Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to over an alleged fraud they say included PayPal, a credit card and e-bikes worth $14,000.

Police are appealing for help to solve a number of alleged crimes across the Gold Coast. Anyone with information about the incidents below is asked to call CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 quoting the reference numbers provided.

Police are seeking to speak to these men, who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation into the alleged fraudulent use of a credit card.

Credit card details were allegedly obtained by unknown means and linked to a PayPal account. Police allege that on August 12, 2023, this account was used to purchase two e-bikes from a bike store in Burleigh worth $14,000.

Police believe these men can assist them with their investigation.

Police are seeking a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation into the alleged theft of a credit card in March.

At approximately 2am on March 31 the suspects allegedly used a stolen credit card at a service station and fast-food premises in Staplyton. Police allege that at approximately 5.50am the same day they used the same stolen card at a Kingscliff bakery.
