Man struck by car on Marine Pde at Biggera Waters
Two men have been hit by cars on the Gold Coast in separate incidents in the span of a few hours, with one sustaining a serious head injury.

A 25-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on a northern Gold Coast road.
The man sustained a significant head injury after he was hit by a Nissan Micra travelling along Marine Pde at Biggera Waters on Monday morning.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition, though a critical care paramedic was on board and the man had suffered a significant injury.
Emergency services were called to the crash at 10.52am, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said.
He said the road was reopened by 11.45am.
The crash came just hours after a man in his 40s was hit by a car in the carpark of Helensvale Plaza.
A QAS spokeswoman said the man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with a leg injury after the crash, which happened at about 8.30am on Monday.
A QPS spokesman said the man was hit in the back of the leg while moving a trolley.
