Police allege the man pictured above took the practice to a whole other level.
Officers claim that on November 17 a fraudulent credit card was allegedly used to book accommodation at a beachfront apartment on The Esplanade in Burleigh Heads.
A large quantity of property was allegedly stolen from the unit including linen, towels, power boards, drills, candles and other items.
Police say they are looking to speak to the man pictured above about the alleged theft.

Police are seeking to speak to this man and woman in relation to the alleged theft of computer equipment from Officeworks in Nerang.
Officers allege that at around 7.30am on September 25 the pair entered the Page Court business and took $400 worth of computer parts.

Police are seeking to speak to this man who they believe may have some information about the alleged theft of a wallet from a car at Burleigh Heads.
Between 11am and midday on November 26 a wallet was stolen from a car parked on the Gold Coast Highway near at Burleigh Heads.
A credit card from the wallet was allegedly used to purchase almost $600 worth of gold bracelets and necklaces from various jewellery stores on the Gold Coast.
