A Gold Coast mother-of-two has had her parole revoked after being charged with 27 offences, most seriously trafficking in methamphetamine and supplying two rifles and a handgun.
Biggera Waters woman Hannah Leigh Sinclair, 31, who is listed as a cleaner in court documents, appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday via audiovisual link from custody.
She was charged on December 20 last year with 27 offences, predominantly allegations of drugs and weapons.
According to court documents, police allege Ms Sinclair trafficked methamphetamine between August 23 and November 29 last year.
Police further allege she supplied dangerous drugs and restricted substances, including meth, diazepam and alprazolam (both types of benzodiazepines), heroin and 1,4-Butanediol (a GHB precursor), on 16 occasions.
Ms Sinclair is also charged with supplying weapons on three occasions: two .22 calibre rifles and a .410 calibre handgun.
Further, police allege she obtained a driver’s licence, two passports and a Medicare card belonging to others for the commission of an indictable offence.
She is facing unrelated charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle at night and in company, possessing meth, and driving while disqualified by a court order as a repeat offender, and stealing from Chemist Warehouse in Beenleigh.
The vehicle was allegedly stolen from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre on December 19 last year, leading to her arrest and remand in custody.
In court on Thursday, Darwin-born Ms Sinclair, who was unrepresented, told Magistrate Joan White she retained Gatenby Criminal Lawyers on other matters.
She made no application for bail and Ms White pointed out that as her parole had now been suspended, she would be ineligible for release, even should a grant of bail be made.
The court was not told about her prior offending for which she was granted parole, nor how long the unexpired portion of her previous sentence was.
Ms Sinclair’s charges were adjourned to March 6.
The court was told she had further matters in Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 3.
