One of the officers dived into a Lexus parked outside the chemist, which was allegedly stolen from Grandview St in Kuraby on June 6 at around 1.40am.

While police were arresting the 17-year-old boy over the bonnet of the Lexus, the other alleged offender fled the scene on foot.

Police found several items from the pharmacy inside the car.

The 17-year-old Mount Warren Park boy has been charged with one count each of enter premises and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is scheduled to appear at the Southport Children’s Court on June 10.

Investigations are ongoing.
