The 2007 Caterpillar Drum Roller was taken from a Coomera site about 1.40am on Saturday according to a Queensland Police Service spokesman.
It’s alleged the vehicle was driven through a temporary construction fence, barrelling down a number of streets, smashing into several cars and causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.

He has been charged with one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle and driving while over the no alcohol limit.
He is expected to appear in Southport Children’s Court on Monday.
