Police have dealt a 16-year-old boy an official warning after he stepped in front of a moving car on Friday morning.

The boy sustained a minor leg injury after the incident on Pacific Pines Boulevard at Pacific Pines just before 8am, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said.

“The 16-year-old boy was issued with a caution for moving into the path of a car,” the QPS spokesman said.

“There will be no further action from police.”

The boy was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
