Meta - the company that owns Instagram - issued a statement apologizing for the inconvenience and said they are working to resolve the problem.

Users are reporting that they are unable to refresh their feeds followed by an error message on Monday morning.
It is not yet clear what caused the outage or how long it will take to resolve it.
Confused users have turned to other social media platforms to confirm the problem as the company lags in releasing any official advice.
“Everybody coming to twitter when instagram is down,” a number of users tweeted alongside GIFs of people running.
“Is anyone else instagram down again,” another person tweeted.
“Me apologizing to my wifi after finding out Instagram is down,” a third person joked.
