IN ANOTHER step towards a cashless society, Mastercard have this month unveiled a new biometric payment security system.

Employed to crack down on fraud, this added element of security will make signing a receipt a thing of the past, instead using fingerprints to confirm one’s identity.

Thumbs will well and truly become our most valuable appendage with fingerprint security to be added to both credit and debit cards.

The iPhone 8 rumours are already widespread, and some ring true. Apple may be keeping us in the dark regarding a numbers of the features planned for its latest model, but here’s the rumours we can get behind so far, including iPhone 8 specs, camera, price and release date.

If you already have an iPhone you know the apprehension that comes with every iOS update. And unfortunately with the iOS11 update you’ll have more to worry about than just a full battery, especially if you’ve been using the same apps since the iPhone 4 was released (guilty).

According to reports from Sensor Tower, Apple will be dropping support for nearly 200,000 apps, with updated phones operating as a 64 bit processor rather than the 32 bit processor of older models.

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want even my closest friends knowing the one-hit wonders that make up the playlist getting me through my commute. And I sure wouldn’t want a giant corporation knowing that either.

This month Bose Corporation was hit with a lawsuit claiming the company was tracking user’s listening habits and selling the information to a third party.

The information was recorded via an app users are encouraged to download in conjunction with the wireless headphones.
