The Bureau of Meteorology issued a warning for residents in the Pilbara region, spanning from Creek to Ningaloo, as tropical cyclone Sean began moving west from the Pilbara region., Cyclone Sean is expected to continue strengthening as it moves west, parallel to the Pilbara coast and travelling to open waters. “From Monday onwards, the cyclone is expected to turn towards the southwest, while remaining over open waters,” the bureau said. “By this time, the cyclone is expected to begin moving away from the coast.”
