Thanasi Kokkinakis’ Australian Open dream is over after the Aussie crashed out in a heartbreaking five-set defeat to Jack Draper.
In a match lasting 4 hours, 35 minutes, Kokkinakis served for the match in the fourth set before eventually falling to a 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 7-5 6-3 loss.

It capped a difficult day for the local hopes, with Jordan Thompson, James Duckworth, Ajla Tomljanovic and Talia Gibson all beaten.
Aleksandar Vukic made the third round of a grand slam for the first time, however, outlasting American 22nd seed Sebastian Korda in another five-set epic.
Aryna Sabalenka, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff were among the big names progressing on Day 4, while last year’s losing finalist Qinwen Zheng and sixth seed Casper Ruud were knocked out in huge upsets.
