Five talents to watch at the Queensland State Junior and Grommet Surfing Titles

Competitive surfing will make its return this weekend with a host of Gold Coast talent set to feature in the Queensland State Grommet Surfing Titles. We reveal the five Gold Coast surfers to watch in both the grommets and juniors over the next two weeks.

COMPETITIVE surfing will make its return this weekend with a host of Gold Coast talent set to feature in the Queensland State Grommet and Junior Surfing Titles.

So who are the city’s best chances of winning a series that has unearthed the likes of Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson and Bede Durbidge?

Participants will be aiming for selection in the state team that will compete at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles later in the year.

We reveal the five Gold Coast surfers to watch in stop one of the two-leg event. The grommets will compete this weekend and the juniors next weekend.
