TAB tipping expert Nick Quinn is looking for winners both on Friday night at The Valley and Sandown and Rosehill on Saturday where’s some serious stars are lining up in the big Group 1 events.

BEST BET

ZOUZARELLA (Sandown Saturday, Race 4, No. 2)

VALUE BET

PORTLAND SKY (Moonee Valley Friday, Race 7, No. 11)

LAY OF THE WEEK

YIYI (Rosehill Saturday, Race 1, No. 1)

SuperCoach Racing is back for 2021

THE VALLEY (Friday night)

Race 7 – 8:15PM Charter Keck Cramer Moir Stakes (1000 METRES)

The money has come for Profiteer to resume as a three year-old with a victory.

Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained runner who shot onto the scene winning on debut at Flemington before destroying his rivals by 5.3 lengths in the Inglis Millennium.

Throughout the early part of the week Profiteer attracted bets of $500 at $4 and $4000 at $3.50.

Profiteer now heads the market at $3.90

The Inferno was backed from $8 into $5.50 in pre-post betting and is now into $5.

The former Singapore star was a brilliant winner in the McEwen Stakes and could secure a slot in The Everest with a win.

The runner who holds each-way appeal at $11 is Portland Sky.

The Matt Laurie-trained galloper won the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (dead-heat) and his past two starts have seen him finish runner-up in Moonee Valley sprint races running second to Masked Crusader in the William Reid and resuming by finishing behind The Inferno in the McEwan.

Suggested Bet: Portland Sky each-way

SANDOWN (Saturday)

Race 7 – 3:45PM Quayclean Underwood Stakes (1800 METRES)

Zaaki continues to race though the grades and should simply carry on his winning ways in the Underwood Stakes.

The Annabel Neasham trained former import was simply stunning when resuming from a spell with an effortless victory in the Tramway Stakes.

Zaaki was heavily backed at $3.50 in pre-post betting for the Underwood prior to his win in the Tramway and was equally as popular after the win when $2.50 was still initially available.

With just four rivals now he dominates the market at $1.28.

Some punters will see him as still a good anchor for multi bets or a standout in the quadrella while he is now too short a favourite for many punters to be entertained as a betting prospect.

One punter stepped in on the short odds on Monday with a bet of $5000 at $1.45.

Suggested Bet: Include Zaaki in the multi bets.

ROSEHILL (Saturday)

Race 8 – 4:05PM XXXX GOLDEN ROSE (1400 METRES)

Anamoe is a clear favourite at $2 to win Saturday’s Group 1 Golden Rose.

The James Cummings-trained colt resumed from a spell winning the Group 2 Run To The Rose with jockey James McDonald appearing to be very soft on him over the concluding stages.

One punter will be getting excited should Anamoe salute after placing a pre-post bet of $14,000 on him at $4.50 on August 28.

Other pre-post bets including $1500 at $4.

For mine there is too much of a price differential between Anamoe and both Artorius and Remarque.

Artorius and Remarque are both a better price to place than Anamoe is the win.

Artorius has finished runner-up in both his two starts this campaign.

He caught the eye with an eye-catching run first-up in the McNeil Stakes over 1200 metres before being beaten as a $1.60 favourite last start at Flemington over 1400 metres.

He is now third-up into the campaign and gets a chance to add another Group 1 to his resume after winning the Blue Diamond earlier in the year.

Remarque is one of the most talented gallopers in the country to have won one race.

He burst onto the scene with an impressive debut victory at Rosehill in January, but a combination of injury and bad luck has seen him winless since.

He was a luckless third first-up in the Rosebud behind Paulele before losing no admirers last start when third to Anamoe

Suggested Bet: Boxed exacta 1,2,7

GOOD LUCK

One punter will turn $1000 into $46,670 if Anamoe and Zaaki both win on Saturday. On September 12 the punter placed $1000 on a multi at odds of $46.67

Verry Elleegant ($2.60, George Main Stakes✅

Untapped ($1.65, Sandown, r10 on Sept 12) ✅

Very Sharp ($3.20, Dubbo, r10 on Sept 12) ✅

Zaaki ($1.70, Underwood Stakes) ❓ Now $1.28

Anamoe ($2, Golden Rose) – ❓ Now $2
