They’re the team-to-beat, the one everyone wants to dethrone, and it’s no wonder why.
South Coast claimed all but one eligible Queensland Representative School Sport titles in 2023, including a sixth consecutive under-15s and third consecutive under-19s gold.
Now they’re back, ready to dominate once again with an equally stella roster of Queensland representatives, Australian rugby 7s stars and national cross-code names.

Tyrah Faifai
Dynamic Goaler making her debut in this age group. Tyrah’s speed entering the circle and her accuracy at mid/long range will be an asset for the championships.

Roxanne Rhind
Roxie’s ability to play both GS and GA will be a huge advantage at the upcoming championships. She is a flexible shooter who is not afraid to take on the defence. Roxi has tasted success for South Coast in the 15 years age group and will make her 19s debut this year

Madison Rhind
Madi is a senior member of the squad having been part of the Gold medal team in 2023. A fierce competitor, Madison’s ability to read the play and get tips on the ball will certainly make things difficult for the opposition.

Olivia Mallard
A new member to the team, Olivia has moved out of the training partner space to make her South Coast debut.
Her sharp skills and excellent fitness will be an asset to the team. As an ‘unknown quantity’ to our opposition, Olivia will bring a fresh and dynamic option to the our centre court combinations.

Charlize Ratu
South Coast welcome back Charlize into the defence end after an absence due to State Rugby 7’s duties. Charlize has a reputation as a dogged defender. With great elevation and body strength, Charlize is not afraid to contest the ball – we are super keen to see her in full flight

A quiet achiever, Harmony makes her 19s debut after a successful 15 years campaign in 2023. An accurate shooter with an unassuming presence, Harmony is able to offer a moving goal circle.

Kaylee Tamala
A senior member of the squad, Kaylee’s ability to play across both goaler positions and out into Wing Attack will add a dynamic element to the team. Lightning fast and accurate with footwork and elevation to match, Kaylee is able to change the tempo of any game.

Tahli’s flexibility to play across the court will be her greatest strength in this dynamic team. A smart player able to read the play and inject herself into the game, her ability to smoothly transition the ball down court will provide many options for the coach.

Aaliyah Frescon Sheppard
In her 6th and final South Coast campaign, Aaliyah’s natural skill and game smarts will provide the centre court with the maturity required for this campaign. A game- changer, Aaliyahs feeds into the circle and trademark mid court intercepts are sure to feature.
