Playing the majority of his junior footy at the Yeppoon Swans, Ethan Ashman really came into his own in the U17s in 2021 when his leap, and deft tap ruck work was noticed by Suns Academy coaches. He was invited to join the Suns Academy Capricornia squad for the NQ talent games in 2022. Ashman was named in the best players over the carnival.

Ashman has recently plied his trade in the reserves, but has had a fantastic pre-season and he will be looking to push his case to be the Yeppoon Swans number one ruckman in season 2023 and beyond.
