Smart Gold Coast mare All Over Bosanova to have short summer campaign

GOLD Coast mare All Over Bosanova will have a short, sharp summer campaign before being prepared for a possible trip to Sydney in the autumn.

GOLD Coast mare All Over Bosanova will have a short, sharp summer campaign before being prepared for a possible trip to Sydney in the autumn.

All Over Bosanova has won five of her eight starts including the Listed Daybreak Lover Plate (1200m) at Doomben in June at her most recent run.

Trainer Mel Eggleston has taken All Over Bosanova along slowly and will do the same this summer.

“We have given her time to mature and she should be a really nice horse next year,” Eggleston said.

“She will run in the Listed Bribie Handicap (1050m) at Doomben on Saturday week and then have one more start in the Listed Fillies and Mares race (Nudgee Quality) two weeks later.

“The Bribie is an open company race but the distance is right for her first start this campaign.

“She can have another break after those two runs and come back for the winter. Although we will look to see if there is anything for her in the Sydney autumn.

“There is a possibility she will head there before the winter.”

Eggleston took All Over Bosanova to Ballina two weeks ago for a barrier trial which she won.

“lt was a good trial and a couple of handy horses ran in it but she handled them easily. I am looking forward to the next year with her,” Eggleston said.
