Magic Millions countdown is on as VIPs enjoy a pre-day at the Gold Coast Turf Club this afternoon

THE celebrity hoopla of magic millions has started today as VIPs roll in ahead of tomorrow’s Magic Millions Race Day.

Channel 7 celebrities, fashion designers, models and Magic Millions ambassadors have had a sneak peak of the glamorous Moët and Chandon marquee which will houses the events who’s who at the Gold Coast Turf Club.

Staff are putting the finishing touches on the marquee which will have Moët flowing all day long.

Winners and losers star Melanie Vallejo said it was her second time to the Coast and she was glad the city finally turned on the good weather she remembered is for.

“I’m really really excited about the weather being so lovely,” she said.

“I don’t have any good tips so I’m trying to find an expert to steal all their tips.”

Model Amanda Ware and glamour couple Jodi and Braith Anasta are among the celebs at a star-studded launch at the turf club today.

Gates open at 10am but organisers are suggesting people pre purchase their tickets to avoid lining up.
