Ironman Cairns is scheduled to be held on 15 June 2025 and will be the tenth stop in the global series.

This year, 2,800 athletes and their families descended on the region to enjoy the tropical winter sun and the thrill of the race.

Broadcast internationally, the event showcases the region as a tourism destination.
