Rachael “Raygun” Gunn has done it again.

The Olympic icon has got tongues wagging with vision showing the breaker taking a tumble on stage at a Sydney nightclub.

The 37-year-old, who stole the show at the Paris Olympics last year, took centre stage again at the celebrated Universal Sydney gay bar in Darlinghurst where she was seen falling over on the side of a platform.

Footage of the fall was shared on Instagram by drag queen Champagne and it showed Gunn’s knee buckle as she threw down some moves on the stage dance floor.

The Australian breaking national champion picked herself back up and walked to the back of the stage to reach for a microphone held by a performer.

The footage from inside the iconic club has since been deleted in Instagram.

It was captioned: “Raygun popped into universal for a look”.

The video was shared on Channel 7’s Sunrise on Sunday morning, leaving hosts Sally Bowrey and Monique Wright giggling.

“I’ve got very similar vision of myself doing that. Turns out she’s just like us,” Bowrey said.

Wright described Gunn’s move as being “like a fainting goat”.

Despite widespread ridicule following her performance in Paris where no judges awarded her a single round in her round-robbin “battles” — the Macquarie University lecturer has never stopped dancing.

She was the most celebrated athlete behind the scenes as the Australian team prepared for the Closing Ceremony.

Most recently Gunn left TV Networks confounded when she knocked back an invitation to feature in Seven’s Dancing With The Stars.

She also declined an offer to appear on Ten’s latest series of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here.

She has previously admitted being bruised by the criticism that arrived in the wake of her Olympic Games’ campaign.

In November she retired from professional competition saying criticism of her Olympic performance had been “really upsetting”.

She did at the time clarify she has not retired from other forms of competition.

“I just didn’t have any control over how people saw me or who I was,” she told one media outlet.

The following month her lawyers shut down a parody musical, Raygun the Musical, saying: “We must take necessary steps to safeguard Rachael’s creative rights and the integrity of her work.”

Stephanie Broadbridge was forced to change the name of her stage production to Breaking: The Musical.

That is set to debut at the Adelaide Fringe Festival next month.
