Watch rugby league star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow get manhandled by a Dutch Shepherd
After outpacing the best Blues defenders, Dolphins superstar Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has finally met his match in an unexpected four-legged opponent.
Maroons fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow might have left the best the Blues have to offer in the dust, but the Dolphins superstar clearly felt he had one more test to pass.
Apparently not content with a pre-season spent in the gym or on the training track, ‘The Hammer’ was put through his paces by Luigi the Dutch Shepherd in a social media collab with Alldogs Security and Training.
In the clip, which drew praise from Queensland teammate Ezra Mam, Tabuai-Fidow seems to outpace his canine rival fairly comfortably for the most part, before eventually being caught and manhandled by Luigi in the end.
The born and bred Cairns boy put together his most prolific season yet in 2025, running in 22 tries from 21 games as he led Redcliffe to the brink of its first NRL finals appearance.
