Kevin Walters is reported to be in the mix to be handed the reins of the Gold Coast for 2020, with St Helens mentor Justin Holbrook appearing to be the only one who could yet change things.

The decision to plump for either will be welcomed by Titans supporters, with 86 per cent in the Bulletin 2019 Fans’ Poll so far voting for a senior man to lead the club.

THE ONE COACH TITANS FANS WANT

At 43 he has banked 77 games in the Super League with a winning rate of 79 per cent.

Those resumes are a far cry from Garth Brennan, whose claim to fame was a NSW Cup title with the Panthers before he won the Titans role for 2018.
