Titans confirm historic David Fifita signing

The Gold Coast Titans have confirmed the three-year signing of Brisbane Broncos forward David Fifita.

The Gold Coast Titans have confirmed the three-year signing of Brisbane Broncos forward David Fifita.

Coach Justin Holbrook said he was “extremely excited” to bring Fifita to the club for the next three years.

“As a coach we want to bring players to our club to improve our squad and David will definitely do that,” he said.

“David already has a close connection with our club through some of our players which is an important element that I am looking for as we build this team.”

Gold Coast CEO Steve Mitchell said the signing was a great result for the Titans.

“We welcome David to the Titans and are so excited that he has chosen to play his footy on the Gold Coast,” he said.

“We are looking forward to getting to know the Fifita family.

Fifita is the fourth member of Keebra Park’s superstar 2016 team to join the Titans, following prop Moeaki Fotuaika, utility Tanah Boyd and outside back Ioane Seiuli.
