SuperCoach NRL: Trent Copeland identifies some under-owned underpriced cheapies
Cheapies are the most important commodity in SuperCoach and Trent Copeland has his eyes on some bargain buys who have scandalously low ownership.

Cheapies are the most important commodity in SuperCoach, pick the right ones, and you’re set to splash as much cash as Donald Trump does on hair products come the business end of the season.
With only a few weeks until the 2019 season kicks off, lots of cheapies (Dylan Brown, Zac Lomax and Albert Hopoate etc) sit in a HUGE amount of teams, but, here are a few of my prospects who no one has their sights set on that could lead us to SuperCoach glory if things fall their way in 2019.
SEAN O’SULLIVAN HFB (BRO | $228,300) — 2% ownership
The Broncos new halves recruit from the Roosters may not be a household name with only the one NRL game to his name, but let me assure you — he is one you WILL want to be aware of this season having been under the tutelage of Cooper Cronk and the Johns brothers.
For reference, the one game O’Sullivan has played, saw 61 points with a try, line break, 22 tackles, a forced drop out and a win for the Roosters.
With the unsettled, and somewhat unsuccessful halves duo of Milford and Nikorima hardly slamming the door shut, I think we could see Anthony Seibold move to a more traditional halfback before long, and O’Sullivan will be a serious cheapie as soon as that happens — he is also an excellent goal kicker!
TUI KAMIKAMICA FRF/2RF (MEL | $196,900) — 2% ownership
At 195cm tall and 110kg, you would expect this big man to be a straight line runner with limited mobility, well, let me tell you he’s the exact opposite! The monstrous Fijian is a tackle-busting machine, with great footwork at the line and a strong offload (SuperCoach dream!) in the Asofa-Solomona mould. Having played five NRL matches — extremely low minutes — in his debut season with the Storm he starts above base price, but from all reports has been banging the door down for a starting berth at the Storm this preseason. Kamikamica may well prove to be the FRF cheapie of the year if things fall into place, with incredibly handy duals. In my side as we speak, let’s watch the Storm trials closely.
GREG LELEISIUAO & MAIKA SIVO CTW (PAR | $168,100) — 1% ownership
This is more of a talent awareness selection than anything, as both of these players are NOT likely to start in the Eels’ best 17 come round one with Blake Ferguson and George Jennings on the wing. But, one thing is for sure, both of these men possess the skillset to become overnight sensations.
A junior Kiwi rep, Leleisiuao was very close to a debut for the Eels last season before injury cruelled his season, after leading the 20s competition in 2017 for average metres AND tackle busts per-game, scoring 17 tries in 18 matches.
Sivo on the other hand is a potential Semi Radradra clone, with his own teammate Blake Ferguson comparing him to the man himself… “They reckon he (Sivo) is better!”. At 186cm and 105kg, he literally walks over the top of opposition outside backs and has speed to burn, after two years at Penrith, the Fijian winger is ready to blast if the chance comes his way in 2019.
