SuperCoach Perfect 8 hits $325,000.

On to trying to win the massive $315k this week …

ROUND 20

Broncos vs. Sharks — Thursday 7.50pm at Suncorp Stadium

Matt Moylan 5/8 | FLB (Sharks)

Moylan has a 3-round average of 72.3PPG with a massive 114 points in round 18 against the Panthers in there, and he is renowned for going on hot streaks. This week he comes up against the Broncos who he has played four times previously in his career for an average of 80PPG with a high score of 101 points. Yes, it’s at Suncorp, but a hot Moylan can towel up any opposition.

Other options: Jamayne Isaako, Anthony Milford, Jesse Ramien, Val Holmes

Cowboys vs. Knights — Friday 6.00pm at 1300SMILES Stadium

Connor Watson 5/8 | FLB (Knights)

Connor Watson has been incredible for SuperCoaches in his debut season for the Knights, averaging a keeper-like 60.4PPG (including an injury affected 5 points in one game!) and really not getting the credit he deserves. Scores of 108, 68 and 77 in recent weeks equates to a 3-round average of 84.3PPG and this week is projected by SuperCoach Stats to score 86 points against the Cowboys.

Other options: Lachlan Fitzgibbon, Kalyn Ponga (If he plays), Nick Meaney (if Ponga doesn’t), Johnathan Thurston

Bulldogs vs. Tigers — Friday 7.55pm at ANZ Stadium

Esan Marsters CTW (Tigers)

Marsters is unquestionably the best CTW in the game. Any arguments should be directed to my legal team (aka Tom Sangster!), but there really shouldn’t be any. 62.7PPG average, coming off a 103 point game against the ladder-leading Rabbitohs in a team that are on a giant killing run. This week they get the Bulldogs and their group of talented kids who despite valiant efforts are conceding loads of SuperCoach points. Mbye against his former club is worth a shout also!

Other options: Robbie Farah, Moses Mbye, David Nofoaluma, Rhyse Martin

Sea Eagles vs. Panthers — Saturday 3.00pm at Lottoland

Tom Trbojevic FLB (Sea Eagles)

I picked him as the captain of the week last weekend despite coming up against the Roosters and having been a touch out of form — mainly because of his dominance at Lottoland in day games — and what did he deliver? 115 big ones! This week, Turbo gets a matchup at the same place, the same day game against a team who just conceded 50 points to the Broncos. C’mon Turbo, double up.

Other options: Jake Trbojevic, Marty Taupau, Nathan Cleary, Tyrone Peachey (at fullback)

Rabbitohs vs. Eels — Saturday 5.30pm at ANZ Stadium

Rob Jennings CTW (Rabbitohs)

The Rabbitohs’ 9-match winning streak came to a grinding halt last weekend against the Tigers, and the Eels could really wear the brunt of that this weekend. One man who has been in incredible form is Rob Jennings, with three monster 100+ scores this season — one of which came against this very opposition (the Eels) just five weeks ago with 144 points and four tries if you don’t mind! SuperCoach stats projects Jennings to score the 113 points this week, the highest of any player in the NRL.

Other options: Cody Walker, Angus Crichton, Damien Cook, Alex Johnston

Storm vs. Raiders — Saturday 7.35pm at AAMI Park

Cameron Smith HOK (Storm)

Somewhat of a safe option here, but I think after last week’s disappointing 48 point effort many will be ‘off’ Smith and that’s a big no-no at AAMI Park. Against the Raiders in his stellar career to date, Smith has an average of 73.56PPG from 16 meetings with a high score of 104. Add to that the scores of 123, 106, 74, 72, 104 and 62 in the past six rounds of action and you can see the upside.

Other options: Josh Hodgson, Jordan Rapana, Felise Kaufusi, Cameron Munster

Titans vs. Warriors — Sunday 2.00pm at Cbus Super Stadium

Shaun Johnson HFB (Warriors)

The great man has been a little down on form (for his standards) the past few weeks, but if there’s one thing that can revitalise things it’s a matchup with the Titans — a team SJ averages 88.8PPG against across 13 career meetings with a high score of 153 points and that average also includes a score of 10. Huge.

Other options: Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, David Fusitua, Isaac Luke, Michael Gordon

Roosters vs. Dragons — Sunday 4.10pm at Allianz Stadium

James Tedesco FLB (Roosters)

We got our first look at the Roosters when they ‘click’ on offence against the Sea Eagles last weekend at Lottoland, and if that game is an indication of things to come then Teddy is about to go berserk! 113 points was merely the tip of the iceberg, as he could have had at least another try and try assist in there had things fallen his way. Teddy does also average 70.67PPG against the Dragons as another positive indicator.

Other options: Latrell Mitchell, Blake Ferguson, Gareth Widdop, Paul Vaughan

Good luck! Will this be the week where someone takes home a huge wad of cash? Let’s hope so.
