ORIGIN, injuries and the bye will wreak havoc on the NRL teams for round 13.
Here are our predicted team changes.
SEA EAGLES V COWBOYS
Thursday 31st May, 7.50pm, Lottoland
Sea Eagles: Fullback Tom Trbojevic will miss the match after being named for NSW. Matthew Wright is expected to deputise in the No. 1. Jake Trbojevic has also made the NSW side. The likes of Jack Gosiewski and Brad Parker will come into contention to join the 17. Apisai Koroisau (suspension) returns at hooker, which will see Lewis Brown drop to the bench.
Cowboys: North Queensland have lost Michael Morgan, Gavin Cooper and Coen Hess to Origin. Matt Scott (shoulder charge) has missed Origin selection but is facing a one game ban. He must win at the judiciary on Tuesday night to take his place for the Cowboys. Scott Bolton (rib cartilage) is in doubt. Expect Lachlan Coote to return to first grade at fullback for Morgan. Ethan Lowe and Sam Hoare will earn spots in a remodelled pack. Kane Linnett (pectoral) could come into contention as he steps up his comeback bid.
NRL CASUALTY WARD: 10 players race clock for Origin
RABBITOHS V SHARKS
Friday 1st June, 7.55pm, ANZ Stadium
Rabbitohs: Dane Gagai and Greg Inglis have been named for Queensland, while Damien Cook and Angus Crichton are in the NSW squad. Alex Johnston (hamstring) is aiming to return from a minor injury in place of Inglis at fullback. Hymel Hunt is frontrunner for the centre spot of Dane Gagai. Richie Kennar (ankle) will also come into contention for a backline spot as he races the clock following a month out. Robbie Farah is the obvious replacement for Cook at hooker. The Rabbitohs have a number of options to replace Crichton, including moving Sam Burgess to the right edge with Cameron Murray to start at lock.
Sharks: Andrew Fifita (knee) is expected back after being rested against the Knights with bone bruising, which would see Ava Seumanufagai revert to the bench. Wade Graham (dangerous contact) is facing a one-match suspension which will likely earn a reprieve for Kurt Capewell. Valentine Holmes has made the Queensland side and will be replaced on the wing by Sosaia Feki. Luke Lewis (dangerous contact) can escape a ban with an early guilty plea.
EELS V KNIGHTS
Saturday 2nd June, 7.35pm, ANZ Stadium
Eels: Parramatta are unaffected by Origin and are expected to welcome back Jarryd Hayne (hip flexor) and Nathan Brown (ankle). Hayne got very close to playing last week.
Knights: Nathan Ross (hamstring) is set to miss out with Cory Denniss the likely replacement. Kalyn Ponga missed Queensland selection and is therefore available for the Knights. Herman Ese’ese is facing a one match ban which opens the door for Josh King or Luke Yates.
ROOSTERS V TIGERS
Sunday 3rd June, 4.10pm, Allianz Stadium
Roosters: Boyd Cordner, James Tedesco, Latrell Mitchell and Dylan Napa are on Origin duty. The Roosters welcome back Ryan Matterson (concussion), while Luke Keary is available after missing NSW selection. Sitili Tupouniua, Eloni Vunakece and Lindsay Collins are in contention for forward spots. Blake Ferguson is in line to play fullback in place of Tedesco, with Daniel Tupou (pectoral) to return on a wing after a long lay-off.
Tigers: Unaffected by Origin and injury and set to be unchanged.
