Canterbury Bulldogs v Dolphins: Live NRL scores, updates and SuperCoach analysis

On a week where teams have been decimated by injuries and Origin call-ups, SuperCoaches are desperately hunting for points, leading to a surge in popularity for a couple of Bulldogs and Dolphins stars.

Bulldogs vs. Dolphins SuperCoach preview

Torrential rainfall and depleted rosters isn’t going to stop the fun tonight. In fact, it’s going to add to the entertainment.

The Origin period has brought with it some new-look line-ups as the Bulldogs host the Dolphins at Accor Stadium.

The Bulldogs will be missing Max King, Stephen Crichton and Kurt Mann, while the Dolphins are without superstar fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to Origin duties.

The Dogs are also without star winger and SuperCoach stud Jacob Kiraz, who has been sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a calf injury.

With all these big names out, SuperCoaches turn their attention to a number of other stars to salvage their scores on a tough week, including a popular trade-in from the Bulldogs and a captaincy option from the Dolphins.

Check back in for kick-off at 7:50pm to follow our live coverage of the match.

Bulldogs:

Viliame Kikau ($587,600) – The most popular transfer in from this fixture, SuperCoaches are hoping Kikau can enter beast mode and secure some points amid the chaos of Origin week. On a slippery night, the most backrower will be tough to handle out on that left edge.

Connor Tracey ($642,200) – One of the PODs of the round with the Dolphins leaking an average of 81 points to fullbacks over the last month. Coaches will need to cough up some serious cash with Tracey sitting on his fifth highest SC value ever.

Dolphins:

Herbie Farnworth ($738,900) – Hoping not to put the blogger’s curse on this, but Herbie has been one of the most reliable SuperCoach assets all season. In a week where SuperCoach sides have been decimated, Farnworth is someone we need to be up and around his average of 75.

• Jake Averillo ($497,000) – The man donning the No.1 jersey in the absence of Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow. Has played 16 games at fullback in his NRL career and scored 11 tries in that time, but never in Dolphins colours. However, he’s set to be a prime target for some Burton bombs in the wild Sydney weather, so he’ll do well to come out of this fixture with no errors.

Who are you looking at for points tonight in your SuperCoach team?
