THE NRL wants us to focus on its State of Origin showpiece but is getting anything but as the game’s biggest names break from Origin camp to savage the administration’s handling of the new collective bargaining agreement.
Cooper Cronk and Cameron Smith have both put aside preparations for Wednesday’s Origin opener to criticise how the NRL administration is handling the issue.
Cronk said the NRL was misleading everyone in a bid to pit players against the clubs over the agreement that will determine future salary caps.
