They’re the NRL’s one-time next big things, teen prodigies and first graders in the making.
Some have gone on to win premierships and play in grand finals, others have established themselves in top-30 squads, are still coming through clubs’ pathways or haven’t been able to make the step up from lower-grade stars.
For years, Paul Crawley has been monitoring every club’s rookie prospects, canvassing coaches, football managers, recruitment bosses, pathways managers and player agents to identify more than 100 players who have shown NRL potential.
Players like Ezra Mam, Sunia Turuva, Will Warbrick and Jahream Bula, who have exploded onto the NRL scene. While other talent like Blake Mozer, Blaize Talagi, Robert Toia and Jamie Humphreys continue to push through the ranks, ready to prove themselves on the big stage.
