ANTI-VAX Titans centre Brian Kelly shared a news report highlighting the case of a nurse who contracted COVID-19 after receiving the vaccine, hours before details of an NRL investigation into a Titans biosecurity breach in Sydney were made public.
Titans captain Kevin Proctor and three other unnamed Titans were allegedly spotted without masks at former Gold Coast rugby league identity Denan Kemp’s Locker Room Bar in Sydney’s Olympic Park on Thursday night.
Proctor is the only player alleged to be playing pokies.
At 8am on Friday Kelly re-shared a post from anti-vax propaganda page ‘Australians vs. The Agenda’ highlighting a 7 News story of a Princess Alexandra Hospital nurse who contracted COVID-19 more than a week after receiving the vaccine.
Kelly was pressured into taking a compulsory flu vaccine last season when the Titans threatened to release him and Bryce Cartwright from the squad unless the pair complied.
The 24-year-old received his shot on the final day of the deadline.
Kelly has been contacted for comment.
Former Titans player Joe Tomane was among those who also liked the original social media post.
