THE NRL’s biggest talking point may be off the field but Titans coach Justin Holbrook has a simple answer for his side’s largest on-field drama.
“It’s individual concentration for what their job is,” he said when asked about basic errors in the 46-6 loss to the Eels on Sunday.

Indeed, even by recent Gold Coast standards the wooden spooners were at their cringe-worthy worst at times against Parramatta.
After defending stoutly to trail only 14-6 at the break at an empty Cbus Super Stadium, the hosts repeatedly shot themselves in the foot with simple errors and missed tackles.
It continued the trend from 2019, one which ultimately cost Garth Brennan his job.
”That’s what we need to be better at; as an individual and as a team,” Holbrook said of mistakes.

“The guys defended for 15 minutes (at the start of the second half) and that could have been a real positive but to get the ball back and drop it again straight away, that’s disappointing.
“It’s repetition, we do it at training. We have just got to work harder.”
There’s no guarantee the Titans will get a shot at redemption this weekend.
While they are due to host Brisbane at 5.15pm on Sunday, the all-encompassing coronavirus saga could yet force the league to pull the pin, as was the case with the AFL on Sunday.
