Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy has joked that star playmaker Cameron Munster will need to earn his spot back through reserve grade after the Storm won its sixth-straight NRL match this weekend.
Munster has been out of action since he suffered an adductor tendon tear during Magic Round in May, with the Queenslander returning to training earlier this week.
In his absence, Jahrome Hughes has been superb at halfback for the Storm, putting together another stellar performance on Saturday evening.

Speaking to Fox League following Saturday’s 24-8 victory against the Roosters in Melbourne, Bellamy jested that Munster would need to prove his worth with a cameo at feeder club the Brisbane Tigers.
“I think we’ve already ordered him a plane ticket to Queensland,” Bellamy said with a smile.
“I’ll see how he goes tonight, he can be a bit cheeky … if he behaves himself tonight I’ll think about it but if he’s a bit cheeky tonight he’s deadset going to Queensland.”
Storm teammate Harry Grant also couldn’t resist poking fun at Munster when questioned about the 29-year-old’s looming return.
“He’s coming through reserve grade. Ball-playing lock, it’s a pretty important position these days, up there at the East Tigers,” Grant smirked.
“Nah, he’s looking in awesome shape. He had a little holiday in Fiji last week, has come back with a little bit of a tan and spring in his step. I think he’ll back on deck pretty soon.
“It’s a real luxury with the squad we’ve got at the moment and the depth of our team … when Mun comes back in it’ll be exciting for the team and a real headache for Bellyache.”
The Storm, who have won six consecutive matches since the start of June, are currently top of the NRL ladder with 34 points, three wins clear of the Sharks and Panthers.
Bellamy’s side will next face the Parramatta Eels at CommBank Stadium on Friday, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm AEST.
