AUSTRALIAN RULES:

Australian rules across all levels, including QAFL, QAFLW, QFA Division 2 South and junior football have all been given the green light to play.

AFLQ state football operations manager Barry Gibson said the code remained in a position to continue with the current season.

“It hasn’t affected community sport,” Gibson said.

“Clubs need to have a COVID safe plan for community sport and we fall into that.

“When the restrictions came out last in Brisbane they had to do the same.”
