A strong first quarter saw the boys from Southport jump out to a 30-13 lead against Ipswich, who will now no longer be in the running for the GPS basketball title after TSS inflicted their second loss of the season.

TSS extended their lead to 18 at half time before running out 10 point winners despite some explosive shooting from IGS opponents Michael Fleming and Deshaun Ross Paiwan who had 38 and 40 points respectively.
Preston Le Gassick top scored with 29 points before winning the MVP award on Saturday night.
Lloyd McVeigh finished with 20 points and won the coaches award while captain Jack Brinsmead won best clubman.
