Unused with the ball in the first innings against Queens, Koppel took 5-5 from 2.4 overs in the second to steer the Colts to outright victory.

He also collected 5-39 against Helensvale Pacific Pines in the under-17 competition a week earlier.

CALLUM WILSON & CRAIG PRAMMER (PALM BEACH CURRUMBIN – THIRD GRADE SOUTH)

Brought together at 4-20 in reply to South Tweed’s 157, middle-order duo Wilson (128) and Prammer (125) put on 233 for the fifth wicket as the Lions roared to victory.

HIDDEN STARS NOVEMBER 30-DECEMBER 1

SEAN CAMPBELL (SOUTHPORT LABRADOR - THIRD GRADE NORTH)

After taking 1-3 off one over in the first innings against Tamborine Mountain, Campbell snared 5-29 from 14.4 overs in the second as the Tigers took first-innings points at Chris Willis Oval.

GRANT EBBERS (LOGANHOLME – THIRD GRADE NORTH)

Having watched teammate Leff Lynne (6-38) and Queens’ Rod Vaughan (6-47) exchange five-fors in the first innings, Ebbers got in on the act with a haul of 8-57 as Loganholme won outright.

JAMES JONES (QUEENS – FOURTH GRADE)

The Centaurs opener’s 110 not out from 96 balls formed the backbone of his side’s successful run chase against Bonogin Valley.

JAI HEAL (COOMERA HOPE ISLAND – FOURTH GRADE)

The dashing opener needed just 79 balls to amass an unbeaten 138 – including 11 sixes – as he and Dean Oliver (94) put on 239 for the first wicket against Palm Beach Currumbin.

Incredibly, the Crocs passed the Lions’ 5-257 with nine wickets and nine overs to spare.

CLUB’S REVIVAL, REP PUSH & CAPTAIN’S KNOCK - FIVE THINGS

BEN DALEY & NICK MLADENOVIC (HELENSVALE PACIFIC PINES - FOURTH GRADE)

Brought together at 1-0, Daley (116 from 100 balls) and Mladenovic (126 off 108) put on an unbroken 252-run stand as the Hawks downed Mudgeeraba Nerang.

GEOFFREY FARMER (SURFERS PARADISE – SIXTH GRADE)

With a previous best of 5-20, Farmer narrowly missed that mark with 5-21 in the Demons’ eight-wicket win over Mudgeeraba Nerang Blue.

WILL MAHONEY (MUDGEERABA NERANG BLUE – UNDER-17)

Mahoney suffered every batsman’s worst nightmare on Saturday, dismissed for 99 as Mudgeeraba beat Burleigh by seven wickets.

DECKLIN ROSS (COOMERA HOPE ISLAND – UNDER-17)

Ross smashed an unbeaten 101 from 84 balls to lead the Crocs to victory in their run chase against Palm Beach Currumbin Maroon.

THUNDER UNDER-18S SAVOUR TITLE HAT-TRICK

JEM WILLIAMS (BROADBEACH ROBINA – UNDER-15)

Williams hit 101 not out from 70 balls as the Cats piled on 6-446 from 50 overs en route to outright points against Palm Beach Currumbin Gold.

THOMAS SWANEPOEL (MUDGEERABA NERANG WHITE – UNDER-11 SOUTH)

Swanepoel’s haul of 6-11 helped restrict Surfers Paradise blue to 131 from their 20 overs, with brother Ethan then hitting 20 from 17 balls in the Bushmen’s total of 6-232.
